JCP&L Rates Published for June 2013-2014

JCP&L has released proposed default rates for the year starting June 2013. These rates are lower than 2012 based on the results of the state-run BGS (Basic Generation Service) auction in February. Since these rates are reached by a formula approved by the BPU, they are expected to be approved. The default rate PTC (price to compare) is reached by adding the BGS price with the transmission charge and reconciliation charge (currently a credit).
